대전국세청은 1일 오전 국립대전현충원을 찾아 참배하고, 봉사활동을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이날 이경열 대전국세청장은 지방청 간부 및 직원, 대전 시내 세무서장 등 80여명의 직원들과 함께 장병 제2묘역에 태극기를 꽂고 묘역 주위 환경을 정화하는 봉사활동을 전개했다.

이 자리에서 이경열 청장은 “순국선열과 호국영령의 숭고한 희생을 직원들과 함께 기리고 그 의미를 되새기는 뜻깊은 시간이었다"며, "국민에게 신뢰받는 공정하고 투명한 국세행정을 펼치겠다.”고 말했다.

한편 ,대전국세청은 매년 6월에 현충원을 찾아 나라사랑 봉사활동을 진행해 오고 있다.
