네덜란드 헤이그시의 얀 반 자넨(Jan van Zanen) 시장 일행이 25일 대전광역시청을 방문해 허태정 대전시장과 면담을 진행했다. 이번 방문은 허 시장의 취임을 축하함과 동시에 두 도시 사이의 파트너십을 구체화하기 위해 마련됐다.
이날 접견에서 대전시는 국내 대표 과학기술 도시로서 주력하고 있는 첨단산업 육성 정책을 공유하고, 글로벌 과학기술 네트워크를 확충하기 위한 구상을 피력했다. 이어 양측은 공공기관은 물론 기업과 학계 등 민·관·학을 아우르는 đa방면의 교류 증진 방안을 폭넓게 논의했다.
